Bowling's Outrageous Block-Party Planned for International Bowl Expo
2005
Universal Studio's City Walk to host Thursday Night Event
ARLINGTON, Texas - International Bowl Expo 2005 (IBE 2005) has planned
an event of unprecedented stature named Bowling's Outrageous Block-Party
(BOB), according to the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA).
Scheduled for Thursday evening June 30 from 7 - 11 p.m. and sponsored by
Qubica Worldwide, ASCAP and BMI, BOB will present IBE 2005 attendees
with a different spin on the traditional 'final night' events of past
years.Food, drink and a vast array of
entertainment will await
attendees at Universal City's City Walk venue in Orlando. City Walk is
an entertainment 'hot spot' located within the Universal Studios theme
park complex. Bob Marley's, Pat O'Brien's, Groove and City Jazz are the
four venues that will await BOB participants. Attendees will be able to
enjoy the sounds Bob Marley's Reggae band, Pat O'Brien's dueling pianos,
and City Jazz's house band. Then, the stars come out to City Walk in the
form of scheduled name entertainers such as The Coasters, The Drifters,
Frankie Valli, sensational country music group Diamond Rio and the
legendary 70s group, K. C. and the Sunshine Band.
As an added bonus, those attendees who would rather
experience
the rides at Universal Studios theme park will be able to access the
park from 7 - 10 p.m. International Bowl Expo 2005 will 'Capture the
Magic' in Orlando, Fla. at the Rosen Centre Hotel, June 26 - July 1,
2005. The Trade Show will be held at the Orange County Convention Center
on Wednesday and Thursday of that week. All other events and educational
seminars will be conducted in portions of the Rosen Centre Hotel meeting
space.
