Recently, Ebonite
International, Inc. stopped selling its house balls through
distributors. Instead, Ebonite now reaches bowling centers on a
direct basis, through it’s Bowling Center Direct program. Indiana is
now one of the programs newest members.
Bowling Center Direct allows
Ebonite to deliver its house balls to bowling centers on a more
economical and efficient basis. However, Ebonite would like to go
further than just selling house balls at good prices. It is now a
promotional vehicle for all member state’s proprietor’s as well.
Here is how it works. For every
Ebonite Super Solar House Ball purchased, at a special price, by an
Indiana Bowling Centers Association member, Ebonite will contribute
$1.00 per ball to the IBCA marketing fund.
For IBCA members, regular house
balls will be sold for only $29.00. Drilled and engraved balls, can
be purchased by members for only $31.50.
Ebonite has also added rental
shoes to this program. These vinyl shoes with padded arches, vented
uppers and rubber soles are also bacteria resistant, to prevent
odor. These shoes come with a $0.50 per pair rebate and are only
$16.95 for up to 47 pairs.
For youth leagues, Ebonite is
also providing special pricing to Indiana proprietors on all of its
Garfield and Odie products. Many of these products will also have
contributions made to the IBCA marketing fund when purchased.
To get started, the bowling
center orders a Garfield Have-A-Ball Promotion Kit, which arrives
fully stocked with everything needed to promote the event, including
balls, bags, towels, sign up sheet and more. The kit price of
$199.95 includes shipping and handling.
Garfield and Odie balls are
priced at $30.50 and Garfield bags are only $8.50. The IBCA
marketing fund will receive $1.00 per bag and $0.50 per bag sold.
