Good info for you to know...
Following in the footsteps of BPAA, the IBCA is lead by a
newly structured Board of Directors patterned after the Carver Model. In 1998 members
voted at the Annual Meeting to downsize the organization's Board of Directors' from
approximately 20 members to the new 15-member Board structure, which will be elected at
Annual Meetings. IBCA's members participate in formulating policies and establishing
programs, as well as electing officers and board members. The Executive team at BPAA manages
the staff and state headquarters from the national office in Arlington, TX. Staff members carry out the
policies, programs, and activities as directed by the Executive Director.
Strategies to reach our goal of increasing and
retaining membership include:
 |
Setting up an aggressive communications network for state and
national programs. |
 |
Creating a state benefits package and information kit. |
 |
Being a leader in initiating high school bowling programs. |
 |
Increasing Midwest
Showcase and Trade Show attendance . |
 |
Increasing Bowl Expo attendance. |
