September – October 6 – Voter Registration Drive:  It is important that individuals be registered to vote.  Click now for your voter registration form.

September – December – Meet with Legislators

November – December – Bills Introduced

January – March –Bills heard in House and Senate

March – April – End of session

What you can do to help:

1. Meet face to face with your State Representative and Senator to educate them of the importance of this issue to your establishment.  Emphasize the points below.  Remind them how profits from legalization of EGD’s impact charitable donations, local team sports, etc.  Focus on the positives.

2. See if they will commit to being in favor of legalization, against or undecided.  Remember THIS IS AN ELECTION YEAR!  Mention that we are holding a voter registration drive.

3. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

4. Be prepared to call, email, or drive to Indianapolis to visit your legislator during session to ask them to support our bill.
