Sysco Foods was awarded the "People Choice Award" for creating the most "buzz" on the Bowl Expo '04 trade show floor when they unveiled the new partnership with BPAA.

The BPAA -Sysco partnership provides qualified and compliant members with a highly competitive and value-added foodservice procurement, distribution and marketing program. This program is designed to reduce foodservice costs, while driving breakthrough revenue and profit contribution. The program consists of three primary features:

BPAA-SYSCO FOOD PROGRAM UPDATE:
  The Sysco Program surpassed current goals by exceeding $1 million dollars in total sales with 184 member centers signed up. At an average savings of 16% per center (some much higher) that is $160,000 in savings in the programs first two months (the program started September 7th).  Per center that comes to a savings in two months of $850 each.
